What exactly IS IT that progresses spiritually since what actually exists is unchanging, timeless, etc? Why would whatever it is need to progress at all from its unchanging timeless state?
I would ask a different question:
There seems to be a supposition here that when one dies and is reincarnated that they will have learned in the previous life from their mistakes and do better the next time around. What makes us think that a reborn person remembers anything or almost anything from the past life?

Actually, both of our questions address a similar confusing aspect of Tzaph's beliefs about Divinity and our status with respect to it.
So stupid, so backwards and ignorant that we need saviors, masters, avatars, teachers
sent to this 3rd Dimension to leave breadcrumbs for us to find our way Home?
Whassup with that?
It's the issue of sin. The human race is corrupted with it. The solution is faith in Jesus. It really is that easy.

I'll tell you what's even easier. Just relaxing and living a responsible life and not worrying about some mystical figure you've only read about based on one book. There are lots of reputable sources for developing one's morality.

You'd think. But it's amazing how we always seem to screw that up, isn't it? You've demonstrated that in your interactions.
Heck, you can't even define what it means to be moral without using God's standards.

As have you.
Actually, my basis for morality is Buddhist standards.
So, you screwed it up again.
