What is this idea of yours about Abraham opening my eyes

Equate Abraham as God who gives as He wills blessings of spiritual insight, one may see the spiritual significance of such stories, be it real or not.
Such as a parable.

Do you not understand the mechanism of why you believe what you do?

Absolutely! My whole basis of understanding is based on the foundation of Gods work in the affairs of human history.
Mankind's state in four stages:
1. The creation = Adam
2. The fall = the gaining of knowledge via intelligence
3. The trial = the ability to choose, becoming as gods
4. Death = the consequences of it all
Those four is mankind plagued with; bar none. Even the Christ.
Show me where by what form God/no God has mankind acquired those four stages in life?
Are we all not subject to the following, god or no god:
We are all born, stage one.
We all have some degree of intellect setting us up for a fall
We all share in the trials of life/struggles/travails
We all die at some point physically
Spiritually wise, the same applies.
We all have/made up of a spiritual side and a fleshly side, either one may control the other.
In that I find the basis of my understandings of the whole of the bible and its dealings with the history of mankind.
Where I used to read a ram as a goat, a lamp as a sheep, a mountain as big dirt mound, a flood as a heap of water, a serpent as a snake, the fruit of the tree in the garden as an apple, etc., Now I don't because I see the spiritual significance of all of them in the hand of Gods workings.
Blessings, AJ
