A few years back a bunch of us (men and women, mostly couples) traveled to another town for a men's football league tournament. There was an infamous strip club down the way so we went. Mostly out of curiosity since alot of the women had never been and wondered "What's the deal?" I had a blast, amazingly enough. The lady dancers were more interested in the women in our group than the men lol. It was fun for the first hour but after a bit the dancing WAS predictable and routine. You can only watch the bump and grind for so long before you become bored. Truly. We all enjoyed talking to the employees more than watching them. Not that they weren't beautiful but these ladies can tell some stories! Now this place was a no hands establishment so I felt pretty comfortable that nothing too risque would go on, at least in front of us. If my fella wanted to go once a year w/some buddies I would have no problem now that I have seen it for myself. The dude that goes every week, now that's a totally different issue.

I think you are right. Many people are, but thats their thing. Heck, there are many places where its an everyday thing. There are many places where its not, either.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

A few years back I went with a group of women from work to a male strip show. Now that was funny.. I have never seen so many women trying to get change for a dollar well it looked like that was what they were doing when they put that dollar in the shorts!!! If a man did that to a woman he probably would have been thrown out of the club.

I'm not the least bit interested in going, but I don't care if anyone else goes. Tacky and immoral aren't always the same thing.

To the poster-
I don't see anything wrong for a couple of guys, especially if they are single, going to a strip club to have a couple of drinks and chill out as long as this is all there is to it.
I'm a woman and went to see strippers one time with a group of other women and had more fun watching how the women were reacting. As far as the strippers go, I have a personal one at home, so I didn't really care about them.

Can you imagine how much money you'd spend in a year if you went to these places once a week? That isn't any different than throwing your hard-earned money away.
not sure what state you are in, but women can spend more than that in a half hour on a shopping spree..

Oh boy,

Well I personally don't like the whole strip club thing, maybe for a single guy and his buddies to go to ONCE in a while, but other than that I just don't think its right - I have many stories to tell, here's a few, trying to keep it short!!

I have a few friends who were strippers. I know there is someone out there who knows someone that stripped and was a good girl, put herself through med school and is a doctor now, but those are very rare instances, at least in my experiences. Friend A, became a stripper at 19 with the intention of putting herself through school, she owned a bit of property down in Florida also. I've listened to dreadful stories from her for many many years, she has no real home, she's been on every drug possible, was gang raped outside her job one time (where the heck were the bouncers!!), and jumps around from one house to another living with many people at once, drug houses I call them. She is now 38, sold all her property for drug money and I haven't heard from her in over a year, I don't know if she is dead or alive.

trying to keep a short post - Friend B - lost her children and shacked up with the manager of a club and they're hooked on crystal meth (sp) now.

Friend C, is now into full fledged prostitution, most of her clients are "married" men she met at the club.

I had the pleasure of going to a couple clubs when I traveled for work a few years ago. I went out with the guys a few times to see what it was all about. Disgusting I must say. We were at an all nude club and I watched one after the other - even people with us - get nude lap dances, the girls would flick their breasts on the men's lips (and yes their tongues were touching them), I really can't go into detail about other stuff on the forum here, but Xrated let me tell you (fingers and such where they shouldn't be and full nude bottoms gyrating on men's laps). I certainly wouldn't want my husband coming home with female secretions on his pants and hands from an all nude dance. And I was able to get into a VIP room there one time, oral sex going on in there and who knows what else - I had to leave at that point!

I also had to be escorted to the bathroom by a bouncer every time I had to go!! Why - if it's just an innocent bunch of guys going out??????

I do have a friend that was divorced after a year of marriage after her husband fessed up that he had cheated on her at his bachelor party. I won't go into detail here, you can pretty much guess by now.

I personally, would not want my husband going to them, I keep myself in good shape and maintain a very active sex life with him - I don't feel he needs to go elsewhere to "get excited".

I also wonder, men use the strip clubs to take business cilents to alot. What would they do if they ran into a situation where one of them men did not like going to those places??? what then?? I know Magnum Mike is man enough to say "i don't want to go and I'm not" what about the guys that feel they have to go cuz everyone else is??

sorry so long

I'm in Arizona - And there's nothing wrong with women shopping and spending money on themselves, at least it's something they can KEEP and get good use out of it, not throw away on a nude dancer.

Thanks MJB. And thanks for pointing out what kind of path some of these women end up leading themselves into, and like others have said here, some make good money and pay for their college and go on to lead better lives, and I'm happy for them, but it's unfortunate they have to use their bodies or degrade themselves to get their college education. Thank God these women are a small minority, I know the majority of them would rather work for minimum wage than end up in sleezy joints like that.

I have gone into a strip club one time 9 years ago, but it definitely wasn't my intention. A bunch of guys at the office were talking about a birthday party for one of the guys, and they were planning on meeting at a place called "The Highlighter", and I thought it was just another bar or restaurant or some night club, and I didn't bother asking what it was. It was Friday night, so I followed the group after work. and to my shock, I found out it was a strip joint. I was only there for about 5 minutes and I got disgusted after I saw a bunch of guys throwing money on the floor of the stage for some girl that was dancing, and I left. Never been anywhere near one since then.

Let me get you too a tissue.. how nice of you to try to force your moral perceptions on everyone. Nice little stories too.. bet they are just that stories. There is nothing wrong with strip clubs, there is nothing wrong with prostitution either. Grow up already.
