I am super liberal also having just completed a great decade in Seattle but no way would I ever live in Ok
without my kids shots .
That poor child who'd survived HIB scared me to death .
The pediatricians are trying to try to keep kids safe in that state .
But the political differences and attitudes between rural Oklahoma and urban Oklahoma are as different as night and day. If it wasn't for the votes from urban areas, Oklahoma would have never passed SQ802 for more Medicaid. Quite unlike urban people, rural people are quite well accustomed to making do with less from both the private and government sectors every day. They are skeptical of anything more the government wants to offer. It may end up coming with more taxes, if accepted.
