God Created Marijuana and all true Believers will only laugh at persons who go into Churches only PRETENDING to believe. Satin has firm grip of persons thinking it is wrong and a crime. So apparently Churches are only Dance Halls for Sinners.

Ha, ha, no wonder the laws against marijuana are so incredibly harsh in Oklahoma. Because Democrats passed them back when they ruled. And now that Republicans rule, they aren't at all interested in correcting those mistakes Democrats made.

All I'm saying is one political party does not control whether or not a question is legalized. People can make it sound like the Democrats did it or the Republicans did, but it's nothing but empty words taking an opportunity to slam the other side. Kid stuff.

But the Democrat legislators at the State Capitol, who support legalizing marijuana in some way, will tell you there's nothing they can do about it, because Republicans rule. So it's now up to the citizens of Oklahoma, working straight from the grass roots level, to try to work around that situation with a petition to vote on legalizing medical marijuana.

funny how many conservatives claim to "want the government out of our lives" but then tell us what we can put in our bodies, who we can sleep with, etc

how is that small government? how is that keeping the nanny government out of our lives?

I hope this passes, then we pass full legalization.

Church going liberals do not necessarily want it either. I'm not a conservative, but I know they are not the only ones who would vote against it and plenty of them would vote for it. Most people with major illness in their family would vote for it and that covers both political parties.

Why? Do many Oklahoma Christians pretty strongly believe that society is so much safer off in keeping sales of marijuana confined underground, out of sight and under the control of criminals, who may have worse drugs to tempt children? God forbid in the future that any stores go up in the state showing a marijuana leaf in their windows, so people can drive by them everyday being reminded that marijuana is for legal sale, just like alcohol.

Why what? All I posted is exactly what I said. People throw in about conservatives and I'm saying it isn't just conservatives who don't want it. I don't know the individual reasons people don't want it. Somehow this thread became about marijuana in general and not about medical marijuana.

speaking for me medical is good, but full legalization is better. thats why I mentioned full legalization. its time to end the prohibition. There is no reason for marijuana to be illegal. any reason people give could apply to alcohol, and we all know how badly prohibition turned out.
