It's 102 on my shady breezy deck in Holdenville. Last time I checked the weather on line the heat index was 107. Maybe all my tall grass will dry up!

I was out and about earlier today, before noon, and the thermometer on my car said it was 103 then. I went out again just a few minutes ago, but I was afraid to look at the thermometer. Just checked the thermometer on my deck, 101, on the east side, under roof, in the shade. It's ulgy.

It was supposed to be 101 here Monday. It was 106 with a heat index of 110. My front door was hot and I decided it didn't need to be opened. Tomorrow it now says 106 again. At least the humidity is not so bad.

Used to live in transitional desert in socal. I still hate triple digits....

Long live AC!!!

My neice and family left yesterday and should get here day after tomorrow. Looks like they picked a nice hot week to move to Stillwater.

Would be very interested in your techniques for canning hot summer days to use in winter, and cold winter days to use in summer.

Enquiring minds wanna know!

After living in Northern Indiana for 38 years and putting up with the frigid Winters and super humid Summers. I am loving it here, of course I am not outside roofing a house or mending fences. I am sitting here at my computer watching my lawn sprinklers do their job.
