I know exactly what you mean. This is our 5th summer, here. We moved here in the summer of 08. When we got here everyone kept telling us the humidity was terrible here. Heck, we moved here from Houston, so for us it felt really dry. We laughed at them. This summer I'm dying. I thought it was just me, but our oldest son, who goes to college in Texas came home after a summer session there, and he has complained about the humidity too. Thankfully, today and tomorrow are suppose to be a bit cooler. Doesn't that sound stupid. It's only gonna be in the high 90's and its gonna be cooler.

I lived south of Houston in the mid 70's. I worked for "Fort Bend County Water District #2" I was about 17. I could hardly breath with the humidity. So I dopped everything and walked away. Hitch Hicking back to Michigan and I ended up in California.
40 years later I'm back in the humidity. I'm wondering if I'm still going in circles

Funny. I just checked the weather on line, and we finally have a heat advisory scheduled for Saturday - now that both the projected high temps and humidity are dropping some. The lows will still be in the 70s, so I dunno why they bothered. Officially it's a hair below 95. I don't think I'm gonna go out and see what it is on my deck, I'm just as happy with 95-.

The last summer I lived on socal, two years ago, it was close to this. The Arizona monsoon season started early and we had summer temps with monsoon moisture. It was horrible with an apartment with a semi functional ac unit you had to sit in front of for any effect and no cross breeze but lots of fans. I didn't see Oklahoma as all that humid after that. I don't remember last summer being anywhere near this damp though.

The whole year has been strange weather. I'm just hoping its DONE before next one.

I notice the dryer air and the temps being less some days. But when the door is hot and the screen on the screen door is hot its sit by the AC time. Doesn't matter too much how hot exactly it is.

We had humidity like this often when I lived in Huntington Beach, a quarter mile up from the sand. December was FOG from 4pm on. Count the streets you pass since no signs were visible. Summer wasn't as humid but when we did have a hot day it was extra miserable from the normal humidity. When I moved I so gladly lost the Fog...

IMO, I think last winters snow had something to do with this humidity.
