It's a little early in the season so not much was blooming yet. It's still a beautiful place to be though, no matter what time of the year.

Thanks for the pictures! I live within walking distance, but haven't made it over there yet this year. I'm definitely making it a point to stop by next weekend.

Millcreek Park looks like one of the best urban parks in the country. I only went to the outskirts of that park, I need to go to some of the lakes and such. Looks awesome. Thanks for the photos.

I enjoy all the photos so much, but want to remind everyone of the rules at the top of the forums, about copyrighted material. Here is the rule about it:

Copyrighted Material - Instead of copying-and-pasting articles, photos, or other material you find on the Internet, you should be posting links to those articles. Posting a snippet from the article and then the link is the appropriate way to post.

Remember the rule and have fun.

Thank you all.

I have to say that Mill Creek is at the top of the list. One of my favorite things about the park is it's ability to make you think you're somewhere you're not. Once you're out on the trails it's like you're miles away from anything resembling a major city.

I took these photos myself earlier in the week. I'm out there quite often so I'm sure there will be more to come!

Thanks for the heads up though!

I know the feeling... I owned a home just up the street from Lanterman's Mill (towards Cornersburg). I think I could count the times I visited the park on one hand. Now I'm a good 20-25 minutes away drive-wise & I'm going there at least once a week!

Hi! I'm pretty sure I've been out there once. I think it was last year... maybe the year before... if I'm thinking about the right place, lol.

It goes from the square downtown to summit st. near the bar (might still be called the Brickyard or something) on the corner of summit and mahoning ave.
