I would like to chat with someone who knows about the Space Spiral at Cedar Point. I am interested in such things as photos, details of the construction, who the contractor might have been, are there any others like it in some other park somewhere... Maybe somone who worked on it or a designer would be great. The name of the firm that designed it, how it works, how old is it, who repairs it. Is it just a fancy elevator, is there an observation deck at the top? No, I am not a terrorist planning some kind of a Memorial day takedown.... Nothing like that, I just want to get some interest stirred up in building one like it in my town as a stand alone attraction. The Cedar Point people won''t tell me anything about it; they don't want another one built that might steal their thunder.... Hopefully, somebody who helped build it or works there now will share some thoughts with me. Just call my BatFone 810-434-7472 or email me at drtom1@comcast.net. Many thanks and happy spring. drtom wb8mcs

Default Space Spiral

Im sorry but as a former employee of Cedar Point i a have some very sad news for you. Unless you can find information about the conractor no one will probabbly help you as Cedar Point has all employees sign a confidentially agreement. Though what i can tell you is that the Space Spiral is not air conditioned and is one of the oldest rides the park has.
