That’s how much me and lots of others would like to see a change in theatre.
My preferred candidates are never on the ballot, either. But I won't vote for a hollow, greasy, empty suit who is a grown-up child just to upset the applecart inside the Beltway. I mean, just show me a LITTLE bit of integrity, please...

They can only get a money judgement. The big question here is who gets the money. The state is very much not the victim here, but I suspect they'll get the judgement.

So if selling something more than it's worth crosses the path of a government official
who thinks otherwise it can easily be conveyed as a possible violation of the law.
Lovely.

Downoad any realtor app.
Flip thru the history of many properties sold across N.Y.C. and the State.
Paying very close attention to the history of the listing.
Note: Many propertites are removing this from their listing "Property History not available" Red Flag!

You will find many examples.

A piece of forested land purchased a month back selling for twice as much the month after.
Never knew lumber grew that fast !

A property purchased a month back selling for three to four times as much four months later.
I dang well know for sure manpower and material barely justifies for this dramatic price change.

No different than people running to dollar stores emptying shelves and posting them online for three
times the purchase price.

A way of Life Americans are used to and guilty without even knowing.
Whatever it takes to make a buck. Poor people do it and so do the wealthy.

This is plain and simple capitalism.
Nothing more.
As a previous post mentioned " Donald Trump was low hanging fruit ."

I
For some reason you are fixated on the buying and selling part
This case in particular is not about buying or selling overpriced properties
People pay extra all the time
In this instance, properties are not being bought or sold.

Einstein, one of the greatest minds, morality issues. Didn't make him a bad physicist
Elvis, one of the greatest singers, drawn towards 14 year olds. Didn't make him a bad musician.

Former President Donald Trump, purported morality, racism, questionable finances . Didn't make him a bad President.

Again, and I will tirelessly repeat,

How does a man who in 73 years makes a name for himself as realtor, celebrity and president stay out of jail if so bad ?
Simple. He did not break any law. Yet in a short span of 4 years ( now 77 ) Trump steps into and comes out of the White House to be indicted 91 times!

Don't let his ethicality blind you. Look at focus of attack.
91 of them coming from many powerful people running the country.

Just so we're clear
You don't have an issue with Trump acting unethically or criminally
You have a problem with him being singled out
Am I getting this correct?

about value of properties in order to secure more favorable terms.

My question:
Is it any different than a New Yorker that purchases a home today and sells it for twice as much tomorrow ?

Another Question with Examples:
Is it any different than selling a 1953 Triumph motorcycle worth anywhere from $6K-$15K but sold
at auction for $225,000 because it once belonged to James Dean ?

Is it any different from a painting of a can of tomato soup that sold for $11,776,000 because it once belonged to
Andy Warhol?

I'm a bit confused.
May I ask are there any victims in any of the above two examples ? No there aren't.
The purchasers chose to pay that amount. They were not duped.

So, I am asking.....
Who are ( if any ) the victims in the case of fraud against Former President Donald Trump that are coming forward?
Can anybody name any persons who were deceived by purported trickery in his property sales ?

Is it not the responsibility of the Attorney General to prosecute crime and public corruption in our State ?
To act as a representative for the United States and to give advice to President Biden
and executive departments of Government ?

The only commonality I see here is Capitalism ( trade controlled by private owner for profit )
and as I see it, the day that becomes a crime is the day our city, our state and our country as I know it..................to be over.

Comments?
Right on!!!

Unethical? Like no class?
The late Rodney Dangerfield asks a teacher for a date but she can't. She has class.
His response is golden. Call me when you have no class...........

Acting criminally?
Playing dressup like a 1920's gangsta?
We can call him the Teflon Don.
That is funny

All kidding aside.
When a person sais numbers never lie.
I only worry about the lies in numbers that never add up.

Thanks for the laughs.
