Me too. I have no idea why people feel the need to leave wet shoes and umbrellas in the hallway. My neighbor had a gathering and there were 8 sets of shoes outside my door. What harm is it gonna do on a mat in your own place. Also the people who use the hotel trolleys to bring stuff up and leave it in the hallway, which is a true obstacle. If you can haul boxes of crap up, you're too much of an invalid to bring the empty cart back down to the lobby? The guys will even put it away for you if you're too lazy to wheel it to the other end of the counter!

Yes, I'm in Forest Hills and it's done here too. However, it's left under the main staircase so it doesn't get in the way.

Oh, the memories of stroller days lol.
