Funny thing is, at least the vast majority of Trump's supporters work and pay taxes, unlike the D's base - the uneducated, violent, lazy, illiterate, 'urban' welfare-class.

The welfare class is not a voting base because very few of them vote. You might as well say the R base is uneducated rural meth heads. They also don’t vote though most likely.

Nah, you're wrong. The Ds see to it that their base gets out there and votes.
We would probably have a Republican governor right now if not for Trump. Ciatterelli being roped in with that "Stop The Steal" nonsense was a killer and he still only lost by 3%. A normal, non-delusional Republican would have beaten Murphy in 2021. The last thing that the pathetic NJ Republican Party needs is to be associated with the broader MAGA stuff.
NO!
Jack lost because of traditional poor republican voter turnout!
Elect a repub gov and the legislature is controlled by democrats....why? low repub voter turnout.
Dems outnumber repubs in Nj and the fact is, not many democrats vote. just enough to trump the repub vote. Dems always win and repubs always lose....the NJ electorate is conditioned and in need of psychological intervention.
And yes, the 2020 election was not legit, if you consider the false warrants filed by the intel agencies which the media and dems used to push misleading and false information. That is the definition of election interference!
But it's not all rurals. All my relatives up in my NW Bergen County hometown are Trump devotees, as is my sister in Sussex. Down here in Monmouth County, Trump gets lots of support in the wealthier towns. In Brick, where my best friend lives, you can't drive down any of the streets without seeing a billboard-sized Trump flag hanging off a garage.
Despite all the noise about NJ being so blue, remember that the Biden-Trump split last time out was around 60/40. That's not overwhelming.
I bet if we had been presented with a solidly intelligent, and moderate Republican presidential candidate against Biden, you'd be seeing a lot of NJ people leaning red this presidential election.
There are a lot of people out there like me not married to a party and who don't like either big-party candidate. Sadly, we know we'll be stuck with one damn fool or the other, because there's no strong enough third party in this country. Yet.
Nah, you're wrong. The Ds see to it that their base gets out there and votes.
Do you have any evidence of that that you can present ?
