Our home here in Jersey is pretty close to being sold. We intend to come to the Murrells Inlet area to find our future home. However, we need a place to live and use as a home base for a couple of weeks during our search.
We are looking for a hotel room or Bed & Breakfast, some place clean and comfortable where we can crash after a day of looking.
Garden City Beach or Murrells Inlet would be ideal, but we are will to drive a distance to find a reasonably priced place to stay.
Any suggestions/'leads' would be appreciated.
We recently sold our condo at the Fairways at River Oaks on River Oaks Dr. in Myrtle Beach. There are short term and long term rentals there as well as owners. It's in a good location. They have a pool, too. I would recommend it as a home base while your looking for your home.
Hi Len - When are you going to be here and for how long? What kind of amenities would you like and what is your budget? If people know those parameters, they would be able to give you better suggestions. I have a few friends who rent out their condos, so once I know more about what you're looking for, I can and will be happy to ask around for you.

We are in negotiations with a buyer at this time but it's slow going. We hope to be in a position to come down within the next couple weeks.
We have gotten a quote from a B&B for about $450 a week so we are in that range currently. We have a well behaved dog but will probably kennel her up here when we come down to look, or A Dog's Way Inn down there depending on how things go. Money is a consideration until we sell the house up here. Then it's no longer an issue.
We would need a week or two this month and depending on how long till settlement, possibly the same in Aug.
I really appreciate the help you've given me over time. You can't imagine how much help that is to us and I'm sure others.
