I have lived in Little river for 7 years. We just built our second house here upgrading from a lovely neighborhood in Lafayette Park (off Hwy 111) to another beautiful neighborhood in Hidden Brooke (off Hwy 90). We are now a little closer to 31 and North Myrtle Beach The ocean is about a 4 mile /8 minute drive. We can get to many sections of Myrtle Beach within 20 minutes. Crime has not been an issue in these communities.
Bridgewater has a website that hasn't been updated in a while and a Facebook page . My wife and I went thru there back in August . They are trying to fill out the first 2 sections (phases) and the amenity center should be under construction . They hope to have 1500 units when the community is complete . We do not want to be in the front section of Bridgewater . It's our feeling that sales have been slow compared to other new neighborhoods in the area . I could go on but that's my feeling in a nut shell .

Would love for you to “go on”! Please enlighten as I don’t live there and family asked me to get info from real people living up that way. The renditions online look l8ke it’s going to be a very nice development. But what about the area itself? Thank you
I agree with CTYankee54 about potential hurricanes. In the 3 years we've owned here, Matthew came through, we were up north at the time, but several people had roof damage and a lot of flooding, then Irma came the following year, it was predicted to be a possible large hurricane, so we evacuated, luckily nothing happened here, then the next year we evacuated again for hurricane Florence. Luckily once again, my neighborhood didn't get anything. I love living here, but in my future years if I'm not driving, I may get sick of having to evacuate for my safety and sanity and am thinking of moving to Greenville in the future. But that's just me, most of the people in my neighborhood did not leave and usually never leave, but being new to SC we left before the storm.
