I am looking to move to MB area this summer from NJ. I will be renting for about six months to a year. My wife and I are 31 and 27 - no kids. In anyone's opinion is Waterbridge, Waterway Palms Plantation, Clear Pond a community for older/more established familes or retirees. We want to fit into our community and have people our age. What areas seem to be best in terms of the nicer amenities/subdivisions for young families.

after visiting waterbridge, waterway palms etc. it was very difficult to figure out this information from the salesperson and difficult to tell driving around, as much of these developments still remains not built.

You are going to have a large amount of retirees in all neighborhoods. Myrtle Beach has an unusually large amount of retirees.

My Wife, two kids, and I are building a home in clear pond. Our soon to be neighbors are a young couple expecting their first child.
As we were discussing options with the builders agent we saw four different young families, and an older couple.
I stopped a resident to speak with him about his experience in clear pond and he said it was safe, quiet and very enjoyable. He was in plain clothes, but happened to be a cop. He also stated a lot of officers live in that community.
The amenities were nice, they actually have a yoga/dance studio which "wow'd" my Wife!
