Looking to retire in SC. Does anyone actually live full time in Plantation Resort or are the condos strictly for vacation rentals? It looks like it would be a fun place.

There are permanent residence at Plantation resort. I don't know what the percentage is, but I am sure there are owner occupied condos as well as annual rentals. Just FYI, the pool and health facilities are not included in the HOA at Plantation Resort, they are a separate membership.

Thanks for the reply. We've gotten conflicting answers about the amenities fees at that resort. A separate charge would put that complex out of the running.

I'm a permanent resident. Loved it for the first year. Going on second and finally have to say. Can't wait to leave. People were put under me who are rude. Are disrespectful concerning autistic children. Says they need to be better controlled and when I went down stairs to greet my husband to tell him. She stands Infront of my steps pushes me with her belly an nothing is done. Now I put up with doors slamming. Loud noises below which are uncalled for and have to smell 3 days at a time or more of dirty diapers. They won't move them. Along with hitting cealing. I hate to be maintenance when they leave. And their security is aware of the problem. So now I deal with harassment. Looks are deceiving that is very true. It is a beautiful place though. Views are nice right now. Till they get the building around here finished. Have a blessed day and I hope this helps.
