I agree. Most of the links that popped up were realtor based sites. And yes, it would be a bizarre thing to mention in a conversation!

Yes, you're right, I learned of that term when we were shopping for our condo a couple of years ago. We had always stayed in that area but I had never heard the term used until I started reading real estate ads. I guess realtors must think it makes the area sound extra special or something.

Makes sense! Thanks for teaching me something new!

One place that has large oceanfront condos is Club Regency.
Located on the southern end of ocean blvd just north of Springmaid pier.
Their number is 843 294 2060.
You are aware that there are two motorcycle events in Myrtle Beach during May.
Might want to check those dates and plan accordingly.

Okay, I must admit - I LOVE Harleys!

Back in the day, I used to be what I think is called a "weekend warrior" - had a Harley Sportster and rode around Lake Murray in Columbia, SC on the weekends with my then-psychologist hubby (who was crazy and I dumped him!). Nothing can beat the sound of a Harley engine and the wind whipping through your hair.

I wouldn't get near one now, but I've been at Surfside during bike week and it really doesn't bother me - but then again, I'm just an "educated" red neck at heart!

I can see you and Blue Herons being Biker Chicks ruling the roost on Ocean Blvd.

Now THAT would be fun - wonder if there would be other "blue hairs" to join the chicks? I am now 65 - almost the magic retirement age of 66 - and can just picture me in a pair of cut-off jeans and halter top - NO, don't think so!

Haha! I definitely work the leather chaps and the halter tops during the bikes weeks of the late nineties through mid 2000s. The hubs being in the restaurant biz always had to work so I rode with friends.

You also would have see me as the Beer Tub Babe with Craig Smith's ex at Revolutions and Crocodile Rocks!
