Last week the annual Boat Show was held on Main St. in Georgetown, SC. This is a joy to attend. There were many handmade boats of all kinds. Under tents were boat builders, who would build a boat and set sail in it on the same day! We saw some beautiful designs and it was delightful to see that all the storefronts were insync with the venue. Many displaying old wooden boats and even wooden submarines. The Pirates were out and about and also spent a good time singing at the end of the town area. The River Walk was full of boats coming in for the festivities. Many were walking in the nice weather and having lunch on the waterway. This is an annual event and worth going to. Mark your calender to early next October and look for signs saying " Wooden Boat Show," it is well worth the trip. In Georgetown, SC...downtown.

Boats for sale in the window of this store...
It sure was a great way to spend the day. A real nice event to take the whole family to. That 1935 ChrisCraft was awesome . A real eye catcher.
Thanks for putting on more pictures. My cameras battery died on me and there was no local place to get any. So I missed so many good shots. The tent with all the boat builders! Anyone have any of that?
Great Day......Be sure to attend next time. It was gorgeous out too.
