I'm afraid you'll find the general PI culture tends to be averse to festivals and events. (Risks drawing in riff-raff, you see.
) The exceptions are the annual Pavillion reunion in May and the Fall Festival of Music which seems to go on forever.
Fortunately, you don't need to travel too far to find all the activities anyone could want. Generally, the further you drive from PI, the higher the likelihood the events will be **gasp** free!
