We are coming up for a few days in November, and would like to play a round of two of golf. What are the best courses for the least amount of greens fees?
In other words, were are the cheapest courses and are they any good?
DH really likes the Myrtle Beach National courses. I'm not sure what the regular rates are...he has the SC resident "golf passport"...but worth checking out! World Tour is also very nice, but expensive.
Honestly, I only played golf once when a freind talked me into it. It was actually only a nine whole scramble but for $25 it included cart rental, sleeve of balls, a rib dinner (nothing to right home about) and door prizes. I won a putter! I believe it is either Tuesdays or Wedenesdays in the evening at Whispering Pines. Cheap night & a few laughs.
Depending on where you are staying in Myrtle Beach it is a big area and there are 100 courses. Whew,
Well these usually are nice courses and have good rates

World Tour is fantastic....the best!!!! ( you get GPS)
The Witch is outside of town not that far, and very nice also.
Yes, and the first three cheaper courses are fine for the price and fun.
The greens fees will vary depending on the season. Mid-summer is cheaper than spring or fall in MB. You're likely to be there in some of the "prime" golfing times!
Go online to the MB Chamber of Commerce website---they can give you a ton of info!
Summering and Cb at sea - thank you so much. I know all about seasonal rates, as
in Florida it's the same way. You can golf pretty darn cheap in the summer because of the heat. Winter is like 4 times as much. But those courses you listed are places to start checking, so thanks a bunch!
