Garden City (Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach: rentals, price, law)

My daughter in law is trying to get a bunch together for summer 2011 to go to garden city her family would vacation there when she was younger,she said she has search and found it would cost about 2,900 to 3,000 for a week for 4 to 5 bedroom. Does anyone know if that is about the price you will find is there a place to look for better deals, that is with a kitchen too.She said she will need to book it soon so just wanted anyone input.

Crazy, you could probably get something in that price range depending on when you are planning on being here. If I am not mistaken, I think the first week in June and the last couple weeks of August are cheaper than the rest of the summer weeks. You might find some good deals on VRBO (http://www.vrbo.com/ - broken link). I also listed a few links below for local companies that handle vacation rentals.
