There is even LESS to see in the Pink Pony these days. They are closed.
Yep, I guess nothing is recession-proof these days. I feel bad for those nice young ladies. I heard a rumor that Walmart had a hand in their closing, even heard they bought the building to make it happen, but I can't imagine that's true.
I just wish it was a Publix and not Wally World. Guess I'm the only one left who thinks that the Wal-Marting of America is a bad thing Now, if Wal-Mart would ONLY buy and sell AMERICAN made products.....that would be a unique selling proposition that I could embrace.
I can't believe that three Walmarts can flourish in an 8 mile stretch.
It is hard to believe. I thought they must be crazy putting another in, that is until I went into the one off of 544. I avoid it like the plague. I do my grocery shopping at Kroger so I don't have to go there very often. When I do find myself needing to make a trip I always take a couple aspirin first.
I think there's about that many in the NMB area, aren't there? There's MANY Walmarts in this area. I think the tourists keep them in business. I agree, however, wish they sold more American made goods!!!
wal mart is taking over the world! 2 new ones going up here in Reno, to add to the 4 we already have. I won't lie, I do shop there, but gosh... overkill.
I can't wait....I hate the 544 WalMart....sometimes I drive to Georgetown's WalMart just to avoid going there....the Wal Mart at 544 is where all the motorhomes, campers and southern beachegoers hit that place wide open!
Yeah, now all of that is going to be right at our back door. I could have waited an entire lifetime for that to happen.
