MoJo is a guy from Farmington...he micro-managed the entire state until the university gave out a free MBA...
If it becomes determined in the near future that that act was within the laws of West Virginia and not against them..I'm going to petition the Circuit Court here in Mon County to grant me one...I have a free space on my wall that needs a new degree.
Masters in Business Administration....I can close my eyes and see it there now....

Default WVU Olympic Athlete

I realize that this board isn't the exact place for this post, but I visit here often and am asking fellow West Virginians to support one of our own (sort of). Head coach of WVU's Rifle team, Jon Hammond, is competing in rifle in Beijing. PLEASE, I ask that you visit his website, www.Hammond4Gold.com, and leave him encouraging and kind comments!

Thank you...

Isn't he doing it for another country? Scotland or England...

Shutting down the WVU Rifle Team to be politically correct was brainless...wonder if we will ever get back up to that level again...

Yes, he is from Scotland, so he is competing for the Great Britain team. Nonetheless, he has adopted WV as his home. Thanks for visiting the site.

WVU Rifle finished 6th in the country last year and lost only two shooters to graduation. Additionally, they have the best ranked recruiting class in the nation coming in this fall.

When I almost took a job in Canon City CO last year, one thing that struck me as GOOD was the fact that the High School had a darned good shooting team/club.

Heck- do any West Virginia High Schools do that, or is it all taught outside of the classroom?

Wish I could say yes...but its part of the liberal persona of the school system here...a member of the legislature wanted to make it a part of the school cirriculum this year, but many parents wanted an education in the 3 r's first...it was shot down...

If it had passed we could take these kids right from the 8th grade to the military and not really waste the sleeping time in class that so many are engaged in...

hunting (and fishing) is on the way out...I think its just lazyness...can't really hunt or fish unless its on the seat of a 4 wheeler...hunting used to take about a 10 mile hike...fishing a little less...those days are over for sure...

As it ends, so will the fish stocking and game management...when we fish, the fish for the pan comes from Krogers...always throw the live ones back..even the small ones...with the older boy in Colorado...I'm looking forward to fishing around the base of Pike's Peak...really nice trout..those we will keep and eat...he was telling me they have land-locked Salmon...October if the creeks don't rise...why don't we have some land locked Salmon...everyone else does...Spruce could do that...late here and these old bones are looking at a very early Friday morning...have a great weekend.
