Apparently plans are in the works for Aldi to build a new store in Saberton where the old dealership is (I assume the Ford dealership) and once it is open they will be closing down their original store on Beechurst/Don Knotts. I have a feeling the Westover people will be majorly complaining about this move.
Also, the closed Walgreens in Saberton is becoming a Dollar Tree.
This hasn't been talked about broadly yet, but Dan Ryan has bought the Meadow Ponds Golf Course (closed since last year) and is planning on expanding the Meadow Ponds Neighborhood to cover the golf course (earth moving either at the end of this year or beginning of next). No word on whether they are keeping some of the trails, club house or ponds. Supposedly for now it will only be single family homes and there will be over 100 of them.
Also, Mon Fayette Junction has a new map up and renderings of the Med Express building and another commercial office building.

It would be great if they built a Home Depot up there with a Giant Eagle.
That certainly stinks for those that bought in the area to be on the course.
