Mobilians and Eastern shore residents what does this mean?

I know Atlanta is carved up into many districts. Will people in Montgomery and the black belt affect what's going on in Mobile based on race? That's insane!!

90% of the city of Mobile's population will be in AL-2 while the remainder of the city and much of the south of the county will be in AL-1.

Atlanta South Fulton county is mostly AA residents while Midtown more northern parts of the city is much more diverse.

I'd like to see an interactive map where people can actually locate what district they're in. I'm out in West Mobile and can't tell if I'm part of the new district or not.

1. mobile is a majority black city

2. The eastern shore is in Baldwin County, not mobile county

3. None of that matters because congressional elections don't control local politics

4. Why are you scared of black people being in charge ?

I am glad that those in AL-2 won't be subject to the whims of the extremes in either party...

Yes

Mobile, like it or not is a better city today than it was 25 years ago because of the efforts of Mike Dow and Sam Jones.
