Not Bridgestreet. It's cute, but their vacancy level from day one has been horrendous along with the short life of so many highly touted restaurants.

They do seem to have a nightmare of a parking design, otherwise I just don't know why it has not come near its original promise. With Belk moving in there they may finally overcome the fact it had no anchor, although it is smaller than the one other Belk across town.
Just a strange situation, and in ten years it hasn't gotten better. We all know the first ten years are suppose to be the best, then you have to reinvent yourself.

Eastern Shore Centre never had a strong management team. It probably would have flourished in the hands of Bayer or GGP.

That place is becoming an eyesore compared to Bel-Air.....I wish it could be bought and brought back to life.

Aside from Ulta, Michaels and Sam's Club (which owns their space), Springdale is about to be a perfect redevelopment target. Big Lots and Burlington could end up somewhere like Festival Center, especially if the Academy to Bel Air rumor is true.

It could take a while, especially if the leases are still in effect and the tenants won't budge. For example up in Ohio, Big Lots is hanging on to one of their stores until their lease is up in 2018, delaying a 5-store Meijer expansion into Northeast Ohio which will see the stores open by 2019 or 2020.

Would be cool to see Springdale be a viable mall again. I remember playing DDR over there in the last days.
