Ridiculous. I pay taxes just like anyone else, believe me. Indians rolling in the dough, yeah right, lol.

As a native american from the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwa. The reservation is the farthest thing from perfect. Just because we get money don't make us rich. We are continuesessly brought down by people who think that money will solve all problems that we deal with. I have seen some unbearable things just living on the reservation, the casino is a right the state granted to the Native's. I don't see a problem with hiring white people at the casino as working there gives many benefits and can help anyone out.

I lived near the Prairie Island community for many years. If you've heard of Treasure Island Casino that's them and they are one of the tribes that does have money. Lot's of it. 18 year olds flash 100 dollar bills in restaurants like it's nothing but stiff the waitresses. There's 2 car dealers in town kept in business solely providing them with flashy cars and trucks. Yet when I went there for a pow wow (open to the public) for the first time there were dozens of booths selling t-shirts with different insulting sayings about taking "the white man's" money at the casinos. That was honestly the last time I ever set foot on the reservation or the casino. I'll keep my white face and my money to myself. It's like anywhere else. The neighbors are as good as you treat them and they treat you. I have zero beef with them or any other race of people but in this case I felt like it was better if I just stayed out of their yard so to speak.

Indian reservations all around the country have suffered from infiltration and exploitation by street gangs and Mexican Cartels. This increases addiction problems and continued living problems.

My Cree cousins all live nearby, none live on a reservation and never have. They have free medical care, all have jobs, pay taxes, property taxes, etc. One is a millionaire thanks to his employment and investment acumen. The other three are just middle class but doing well, employed, etc.
