She was a Mod in the MN forum for a while. Of course she won the $5000 She knew MN very well, but her posts were basically Minnesota is perfect, end of story. NO place did anything better than MN-especially the school system. Funny how minnesotans love to think MN is superior to just about everywhere, yet God forbid someone not agree, or have the slightest criticism. THe defensiveness is unreal!!

Oh and before I forget, Glenfield asked me a question a while ago that I didn't answer: I was asked why do I lurk in the MN, esp Twin Cities forum so much?
My answer: I lived in South Minneapolis for a while in the early 2000s, for a couple years. My brother and his wife live in the TC now

Does that give me the "right" to "lurk" and post here?????

I don't see why not.

I take it you "LeftWI" and live now on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Good choice!

Minnesota has that super odd accent. Wisconsin accent sounds like talking while biting into hot cheesy bread, and Michigan has the normal Midwest accent in most places other than the UP where you have bit of a Canadian dialect thrown in.

Everyone thinks their accent is normal and other people are the ones who sound funny.
