BTW, here's a rendering...

This tower, along with the already-under-construction super-luxury 550-foot Eleven(shown below), will dramatically widen the skyline.

It will be - at 425 feet* - by far the tallest tower west of Hennepin Avenue.

You will be able to watch every Twins game from the south balconies of the residential tower if you live above (about) the 15th floor.

*The tower is actually 425 feet above grade. The 392-foot height is only measured from the 5th Street bridge entrance, which is 33 feet above the land below.
I may have misinterpreted the article then. Thanks for the response. That's great. I for one am a fan of Minneapolis growing it's skyline. The youngest of it's biggest is nearly 30 years old. I understand that isn't the only barometer to measure a city's vitality.

Certainly. And much taller. The Carlyle is a decent piece to the skyline. I can see it clearly here in Blaine. The 11 is really going to be noticeable and will be much further East

The worst thing about the anti-high rise crowd is their ignorance. I've read comments about how Mpls isn't promoting "affordable living". Units start at $900,000. Guess what? 55% are sold. Minneapolis is a world-class city and there's an appetite for downtown living on a high-scale. This building does that.

I love it.

Well by my math there’s still 45% of it available if you’re interested.

I would but the units are going for a tad north of my price range.

The sad thing is back in February I would've agreed with you. Who wants to form a task force and get this city back in order? Honestly what can be done, this is getting bad.
