Nice example. If you watch the full version of that video, there are several cars and SUVs that are able to get up (and down) that hill without crashing. I would put money on those cars having good snow/winter tires. 4WD/AWD will do nothing if you have no traction on the road. Gravity is king in this situation.

I have a small RWD truck that was my daily driver for many years out west. Luckily its just a hauler now and mostly stays in the garage in winter. If I have to drive it, sand tubes and winter tires help a little, but not much. My wife's FWD Mazda 3 is way better in these conditions.
