This poll is probably not going the way you envisioned it would, right, OP?

To keep this thread and this poll on a simpler plane, can Miami really attract more consulates than it currently has? I just discovered a consulate for Sierra Leone, a country in West Africa. As a result of that, I made an addition showing that Sierra Leone has a full time official consulate in Miami plus made an addition of Google Maps as a result. Since Miami has the largest fleet of cruise ships in America and the West African country of Liberia has about over a tenth of the cruise ship registry in the world, it might make sense for Liberia to maintain an official consular office in Miami.

The thumbnail and the blowup was supposed to demonstrate the amount of consulates that Miami can attract, and as a result, I believe that Miami can have up to over 80+ consulates within and close to the city. In recent news, Serbian Airlines is planning on making Miami it's second American destination (https://www.exyuaviation.com/2024/02...mi-launch.html; https://simpleflying.com/serbia-pres...ina-expansion/; https://www.aviacionline.com/2024/02...miami-flights/).

As a result of Air Serbia's commitment to flying to MIA from BEG, it's more than likely that the country of Serbia will open up a consulate in Miami. Future predictions for air routes with possible consular services in parentheses could be the following:

- Aeroflot (Russia)
- Africa World Airways (Ghana)
- Air Algérie (Algeria)
- Air Baltic (Latvia)
- All Nippon Airlines (Japan)
- Austrian Airlines (Austria)
- Brussels Airlines (Belgium)
- Cathay Pacific (Hong Kong)
- China Airlines (Taiwan)
- Croatian Airlines (Croatia)
- EgyptAir (Egypt)
- Etihad (United Arab Emirates)
- Icelandair (Iceland)
- Japan Airlines (Japan)
- KoreanAir (South Korea)
- MALEV (Hungary)
- Middle East Airlines (Lebanon)
- Paranair (Paraguay)
- Qantas (Australia)
- Royal Jordanian (Jordan)
- Saudia (Saudi Arabia)
- Singapore Airlines (Singapore)
- South African Airways (South Africa)
- TAROM (Romania)
- Ukrainian International (Ukraine)

With the Russian-Ukrainian War eventually going to end sooner or later, depending on diplomacy, eventually Aeroflot and Ukrainian Int'l will operate flights between Eastern Europe and MIA in the future, plus with the growing Eastern European population in South FL, there's going to be a necessity to having Russian and Ukrainian consulates in Miami. Plus the expansion the places such as the Middle East, Subsaharan Africa, and Asia, and with the burgeoning financial and commercial presences in Miami, I can see all or most of these flights happening in the near future!
