Well, there is some debate, because I think everybody agrees, including Jack Fisher that the definition of tropical should be altered to include Miami.

thanks

Tropical zone as geography, or as in climate? You did not mention which you were referring to.

Parts of Saudia Arabia, Libya, and Egypt are also in the tropics by geography, I can say that they have a lot less vegetation than Florida has, those areas within the tropics are outright deserts.

Miami is in the tropics based on climate, with the mean year round temperature being above the minimum set for what is considered the tropics which is 64 degrees F.

All the tropics mean in geography is the area in which the sun is directly overhead, not with the climate as my examples have just shown you. There are a few plants that need to be in this zone. There is also tropics when referring to climate as well. Again, you did not state which you meant.

No, this actually. Boo-Yah Princess.

Hey, personally I think Miami is semi-arid. Look at these similarities:

Note the similar abundance of silica.

Now, Broward, there is far less sand there - that most absshuredly is Sub-tropical.

Now you can all see I am most indubitably a certified Genius! (Desertus operatus idioticus)

It seems Miami is indeed semi-arid, but Jack Fisher and Burt Reynolds have made it quite clear Miami is indeed TROPICAL.

For now, I think it would be best if everybody went along with what Jack Fisher says, and just agree that Miami is a city located in the tropics.

It's not that accurate. Some havana winter nights do go into the 50's, the low 50's for that matter.

Ha, isn't Enrique Santos some local radio station"personality" I never heard him on the radio but I saw him on Youtube when he interview Niurka Marcos or whatever her name is. He is so unprofessional and fake. It was a disgusting interview. You know it's hard to sympathize with someone as obnoxious as Niurka but this scumbag made the impossible possible.
