Mosquitos & Miami:

Is there a season for it? Or pretty much 12 months/year?

Pretty much Mid-May through November, which is rainy season is when we have the most mosquitos, so 6 months. But every so often you can see a stray mosquito in February, if there is rain or its warm.

I agree with DB.

The winter in Miami is simply heavenly. No bugs, low humidity and perfect temps.

LOL, actually I can't say I really noticed any mosquitoes...ever. Let's see if I have to thik about it, it's a rare occasion, pretty much never that I don't remember and those pay attention to it, but I have encountered a couple after a heavy rain session and your by a lake (you know those plain lakes where the black ducks are). That's it, never else really. Never have had any problems with them. Never encounter them and if I do, it's one and I don't notice it because it doesn't bother me. When ever any got inside my home, it was one, that's it.
