Which counties in MD are most mask compliant?

Meaning people willing wear masks because they believe in science and want to protect others vs fighting about their freedom and rights being violated or they just don't believe masks work?

Compliant how? As of now few, if any, jurisdictions have a blanket mask mandate although some businesses are asking that patrons wear them. Some ask they be worn if not vaccinated. Some are requiring employees to be masked.

It's kind of difficult to measure if there's no requirement.

Montgomery County has gone back to requiring masks in stores, as far as I know that' the only county around here that has done so. It stands to reason, that's a very liberal county unlike some of the others.

Compliant meaning compliant with the most recent CDC guidelines which are that everyone, vaccinated or not, should be wearing a mask in public to slow the spread of the Delta variant.

Where I live more than half of the state population refuses to wear a mask. Not seeing that in MA where we are originally from. People are pretty in tune with their health and science so most people wear masks there, which is probably why cases are under control.

Thank you. Is that the only liberal county in MD? Not looking specially for mask mandates, just people being sensible and following the CDC Guidelines about masking, which right now is that everyone - vaccinated or not - wear one in public.

Prince George's might be technically "more liberal" but MoCo is probably better on mask adherence. That said, mask adherence is pretty good in PG, and I would suspect HoCo as well.

If that's what is being suggested then they need to get their **** straight. The signs here are "Recommended" indoors with caveats not "Required". Nothing about "in public" which most translate as "outside".

Which is what the CDC says.

Nobody said anything about required. The wording is "recommended" (not "suggested") that all individuals, vaccinated or not, wear a mask in public indoor places in high transmission areas (which all of the country is right now). Sorry, I didn't say indoors, thought that would be implied.

Complying with CDC guidelines - that everyone, vaccinated or not, wear a mask when indoors. No mask mandate should be needed if people care.

Thx. What is HoCo? What about Anne Arundel county?
