This is something I publish monthly to my clients and customers, I thought I'd post it here for those interested. 2019 was a record year, these numbers are truly amazing.

I believe it. My home that I purchased in 2017 and sold in 2020 increased almost $30,000 in price/value. And I did not purchase it to "flip" it. I intended on staying when I first bought it. Everyone wants to move to the country it seems.

I'm concerned about the families that have lived in travel trailers on some logging road since August. It snowed this afternoon. One deer season over a decade ago, big 4WD pickups got snowed in during deer season. They were pulled out by skidders and that service did not come cheap. The pickups were sliding on hard packed wet snow. Their tires were off the road. Many of the rented trailers could be abandoned as winter sets in.

The Quad County Snowmobile Club will have a FREE Thanksgiving dinner for anybody in their area. Just call the phone on their web site and tell them how many meals you want for your family. Donations accepted, but not required.

These are the Waffle Festival people.

NMLM, I am curious about these families living in rented campers. I have tried to look up something on this situation, but can find nothing. I'm not sure winter is survivable in a camper.

Can you direct me to a source of info on who these people are?

Is that $280,000 an average for the entire state? I'm just curious and don't know much of anything about real estate except I can't buy a freaking house here where I live.

I know that different areas have huge differences in price. I only wish I could buy a fixer but I do not have that skill set.

Quick question off the topic a bit but here goes: In any of the very old houses built in the 1800's. How do you put electricity in and bathrooms? Also how good are those stone foundations? I'm thinking pretty damn good.

That's the kind of house I want one with charm not some cheaply made cookie cutter.

I know there are many homes pre-1900 for sale regularly, at least in Washington County but I'll bet throughout the state. Kind of amazing to think about a 150 year old house still standing...well built.

No, median isn't average. It means half the sales prices were above that and half were below.

$280,000 was the median price statewide for the 2341 single family home sales in the month of October. That number fluctuates significantly by county.
