Yes definitely has an interesting history.
But it’s not a vortex or portal to an alternate dimension or anything like that.
I had family that worked there for many years, and I have actually been there.
It’s really cool.

Nothing was finalized yet. I was referring to the facilities are all about to close I believe by the end of the year.

Yeah but there was all that controversy about selling the island to private developers to build homes and create yet another elitist playground on the east end.

Plum Island has always been shrouded in secrecy. It can't just because they are afraid an animal disease will escape. You won't find any scientists who worked there writing books or talking about it in documentaries unless it's a government video and the island is under the control of DHS (Homeland Security).
