I realize it is over - and politics and personal positons aside - have you or anyone you know had Covid in the last month?

Just wondering if it is still around and if so was/has it just been like a cold recently?

Funny (well, not really) you should mention. Just received a phone call from a friend about an hour ago who is positive. FOR THE SECOND TIME.

Yes, though it does not seem like a worrisome case.

Went to Florida a few weeks ago for a vacation. Spouse came home with Covid. Our first time. I didn't get it. Both of us fully vaxxed.

Yes, an old co-worker I speak to every few weeks. She and her husband both got it and he got over it in a week or so but she was not that lucky.
She was hospitalized and has been on oxygen for a month so far. She's 56, a health coach and no other health issues. Both not vaccinated.

Our granddaughter works in a hospital operating room.

She just finished having Covid for the sixth time. Sounds as if it just comes with the job, and Covid is not completely over.

for most it is down to being just cold-vid .

it is so far from the alpha and delta versions and the effects that those versions had that i would worry about the flu more

Funny you ask, because for the first time in WELLLLLL over at least a year I checked the county dashboard here in NC - they do wastewater testing to track it. Been flat since December. I think total cases for the entire state is under 10K as far as the wastewater testing.

I have two kids in college and it's not been an issue - seems my daughter's college had a lot of kids get sick in the fall but not sure how much was Covid. My son goes to NC State, with 26K undergrads alone and them not tracking anymore it would be impossible to gauge.
