I remember the Pet Shop Fin & Feather, there was a very pretty girl that worked there, I would go in there to flirt with her, I would get nervous turn around and just walk right out of the store lol.
I remember towards the end when Gardiner Manor only had a handful of stores and was largely deserted my friends and I would ride our bikes in there, and would only get strange looks.
Before it died I used to like the pet store, Fin & Feather I think. This thread brought back memories lol.
It was a small place, next to a music store, on the same row as the pizzeria, the main part of the mall. It had purple neon lighting. Does anyone remember Orange Julius? I loved those drinks.
Yes there was an Orange Julius there and I’m fairly certain Dairy Queen owns that brand as they have them both down here in the south.
I told my husband about this and he does not remember any place in the mall selling bondage supplies LOL.
If it’s the same place I remember it was called Smokey’s den and they sold comic books and magazines and other newsstand items. It had a Native American Indian statue when you walked in.
I don't remember this at all. Newberry's had a luncheonette, and there was a smoke shop that sold "smoking" and bondage supplies, and the pizzeria, that's all I remember from that part of the mall.
Agreed. This OP has contacted me several times to tell me the deli in the mall was Bernie's. They even told me in a thread on the food forum about it . Maybe the OP is stalking me
I remember that Mall before it was enclosed. I lived in Bayshore till 1980 And I don't recall a Folly's or Bernie's.
