I'm in Graves I we're running on generator right now, it's strange having the only lights on for miles around. We have 9000 homes without power, which is most of the homes in the county.

All of the schools here are closed tomorrow and I have 7 HUGE oaks and one hickory down around the house, so the up side is I'll have plenty of fire wood this winter. By a miracle nothing hit the house or out buildings, and I just put a new roof on less than a month ago, it was rated at 110 mph ... seem to be true many homes around here are missing there shingles.

We didn't get a drop of rain, just a tiny mist that was blowing so hard it stung as I was trying to put a tree out of the road with the tractor.

Anyway, so far I haven't heard of any loss of life, property can be replaced and trees can be replanted.

Thanks for the photos. Wow, you were up close and personal (Nevermind. I had missed that the photos were from the Courier Journal. Hope no one was in those cars.

Wonder if missymom lost power? She's usually on by this time of the day.

Wow, I can't believe it did that much damage. My family is in Southcentral KY and a big chunk of them didn't have power last night either. My sister's county was declared a state of emergency. Please be careful everyone!!

Wow, that was quite a little wait. Hope you were able to store some of your food at relatives? Did you stay in your house?
