One thing people look forward to around the Mayfield area is the annual Bale Trail, sponsored by River Valley Ag Credit. If a business wants to decorate a bale, River Valley supplies them, then people drive the Bale Trail and vote on their favorite. The big winner last year was one resembling our mayor, after all the hard work she did after the 2021 tornado.
Thanks to Marino for telling me how to post pictures on here, but I'm doing it the easy way this time. I'm posting coverage from our local TV station in Paducah.

Along with the Bale Trail, watch the story on Talon Falls, a big scary haunted house type amusement in rural Grave County that draws crowds from all over the country.

This second story is from last year so you can see more of the bales.

Here's almost 80 of the bales on the trail, and the poster said they have more to put on the page when they can. Just thought I'd show you the ones showing so far.

I think my favorites are the Flintstone car, the coconut meringue pie, and the tape dispenser.
