I'm going to be moving to Paducah in a couple of weeks for a job and was wondering what the recommendations on apartments were. I'm moving from Jeffersonville, IN and will still be paying a mortgage so I don't need/want anything to fancy or expensive.

I saw Colony Drive online and I will probably visit next Tuesday or Wednesday to check out the apartments in person. I don't need any amenities just a safe place to live where I don't have to worry about my stuff being broken into.

Also would Metropolis be a better option as far as taxes or pricing goes? I don't mind driving 15 minutes to work (do it now in rush hour Louisville traffic nonetheless) if I get a decently cheap place to stay. My wife and I are excited to be moving down to Paducah (she won't be joining me until the house sells though) so just hoping to get off on the right foot.

Hi there...I noticed you posted this a while ago. I'm planning on movie to Paducah in the next couple weeks and was wondering if you found anything there that was worth moving into. I'm a 23 year old female so safety is a big concern. Thanks

Hi, Moving. Was looking at the Paducah Sun online and noticed they are now putting classified ads online. Scroll down to 0600 and on down for rentals. Maybe that will help you. Looks like there's more choices in apartments and duplexes. Good luck!
