I hope it is good tidings. I haven't watched the Bears since their last Super Bowll and Ditka left. I want a reason to watch good football.

Oh yeah!! I think it is good - if the offensive line can keep it together they can do good things. I think that was the big problem with grossman was that the offensive line didn't give him enough time to throw at times. They did good. Hope they can get some momentum out of it.

Forte! Forte! Forte! Forte!

Good game overall, I was expecting Indy to stomp us.

how could it be luck???

if the defense stays healthy, they can go all the way.

if the bears had mike brown during the superbowl, they could have won. he makes all the difference in run support, as evidenced by last night's game.

Was shocked to see the Bears win so handily after a 7-6 score early in the 3rd...if they can get a good (not just solid) running attack going, and Orton plays the conservative role at QB, there's not reason we aren't a solid playoff team, injuries aside.

I'd go so far as to say 11-5 or 12-4 is not out of the question...Philly, Jax, and yes, Green Bay will be tough games, but I think they keep their head in the game and don't lose too much perspective from avenging their SB loss 2 years ago, the Bears could really turn it around from last season.

No, if the Bears had Forte and Orton also playing in the Super Bowl they would have won.

It's oh so very early... But just imagine how much that Bears defense would improve if the Bears had an offense that could control the clock! If Forte is the real thing, the Bears could definitely contend for the division.

I thought the Vikings might be a powerhouse this year, but they couldn't handle the Favre-less Packers... But, like I said, there's a LOT of season left.
