I'm really good at 85. I think my body remembers cold more than heat- I'm so used to being a little cool that 85 is a nice warmth I don't get to experience very often.

Similar. I function best at 45-65. Prefer around 53-57, that seems to be the best for my body. Anything over 75 and my body hates it. So yea, I hate Texas weather with a passion. Seems I was re-wired after my back surgery + nerve damage.

That's funny. In our home my wife has it locked on 70 degrees no matter what. Works out pretty well. I'm never hot nor cold. Just right

My summer setting is 80, but I live in Tri cities where we have had 10 days over 100 so far this summer, and dozens between 90-99. So 80 feels just fine inside my home.

Based on the data I've collected here in Sagle, we aren't trending warm overall for the summer so far. My June, July and August average daily highs are actually slightly less than long term averages, but close enough that I'd call them average. Interestingly, the average daily lows in July and August (so far) are a little more than 10% above average.

The trend of higher than average daily lows with average daily highs is a continuation of what happened this past winter.

That’s cool (so to speak), but NID is an entirely different climate zone from TriCities, which I was describing. But I will defer to you here because this thread is not about Tri-Cities. Sorry for the off topic regional faux pa.

Love this thread.

Posting from Phoenix, where we've had something like 47 days over 110°F this summer. Pretty sure we went over a month with the low not getting below 90°F overnight. It's a dry heat, sure, but it's getting hotter and drier by the year.

Appreciate seeing these anecdotes.
