Hey! I just googled the Osprey Cam and I see them! I have been checking daily but this is the first time I've seen them. Very cool. So busy, workin' away on a new next.

Might want to post the link so people know which one you are referring to. Is it this one?

They're beautiful birds!
Ospreys are real specialists. They eat only fish. When you see Ospreys, it's a sign of a healthy river.
A lady friend of mine owns a home on the banks of the Snake. From off her back deck there's a little island, and the backwaters on the upstream end must be full of fish, because she sees Bald and Golden eagles and Ospreys fishing almost every day. When the water is low, there's a big flat rock in the channel they all land on to eat their catch, or steal a fish.
She calls it the Eagle Rock Café. That deck is a good place to pick the banjo and watch the birds.
(Eagle Rock was Idaho Falls' first name.)

They put in a new camera since last year, and the upgraded image quality is really fantastic!

No, thanks for posing...I love these live wildlife cameras! We saw a couple of bald eagles fishing at Garfield Bay a couple of weeks ago and that was awesome. This poor osprey is fighting some wind in the nest today it looks and sounds like.

How cool, and with sound, too! I read the blurb on the website, and I didn't know ospreys migrated south for the winter. Long, long journey to come home to Paradise up north...I can relate to that, in my own little way...

I was wondering when they would come in this year. We have a few breeding pairs around Jewel Lake, and several more along Dufort.

TWO of them there today...must be a breeding pair.

One is laughing at the other (or so it sounds like).
