Hi everyone, my name is Lynn and I was trying to get information on Clark County Social Services in regards the $400 rental assistance or check that they offer to those that apply and are approved. I'm not sure if I'm getting the correct information online because from my heavy research, I believe that it's known as the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher but it doesn't seem to mention anything about it being a one time assistance program and instead refers to a voucher that pays a percentage of your rent each month for so long, etc. Is this the same thing as what I'm looking for or is this another entirely different program? I have only spoken to those who have received one but all of them had gotten it a couple or more years ago so I don't have updated information hardly. I only simply know that it's offered through Social Services and that is all. Is there a specific name to search the website and find out exactly what the qualifications are to be eligible for this type of immediate rent assistance in the amount of $400 one time only that y'all could help me out with here??
