That was a Revco, not a Rite Aid.

They did a minor remodel last year that painted over and removed pretty much all of the old "disco" decor.

It opened as a Revco but was a CVS when it was closed and replaced with a freestanding store ~6 years ago.

Any Ingle's store that had the red, orange, and yellow facade has had that repainted in either tan or gray. Ingle's #29 was the last store in South Carolina to have that.

Dunkin' Donuts coming to the former Nagoya Japanese Steak House (3421 SC-153, Piedmont, SC 29673). Nagoya recently moved across the street to 124 McNeely Road.

That's probably going to be a very successful location. I'll try my best to stay out of there......

Has anyone heard anything more about this place opening? Been advertised a while.

The sign on the door say that the building permit has expired and work must cease, not that there has been anything going on for quite a while.

I don't consider a sign advertising.

That place seems dead but the "Antonio's Pizza and Pasta" in the same strip mall seems to be coming along and should open soon:

Antonio's Pizza and Pasta coming to Powdersville

The menu looks a lot like the one for Pizza House just down the road but it will be nice to have another option in the area. The "Big Clock" seems to be always busy - still haven't eaten there.
