I don't know Ace - I'll take the floriday cloudy days over the Haze that lays over Arizona LOL - Not my cup of tea. I just found it interesting that it was considered cloudy nearly double the amount of days.

I will not argue you point. In fact, I am going to hold you to it! Bring on that sun baby - I have my spf30 ready for it! I'm like a ghost after this winter, oh and it was 27 this morning burrrr.

Before I moved here last year, I lived in upstate NY. I have no complaints with FL's hot and humid weather.

I'm right there with you! While I will not say it is as cold in NYC as upstate, but it gets pretty damn cold here.

Come on now, it was 32 degrees today in NYC, WITHOUT ONE cloud in the entire sky. It felt far from cold. NYC sometimes feels like a desert, in terms of ALL the completely sunny skies. NYC is alot sunnier than most people think.

P.S. The high almost hit 40. And with all that sun, it felt GREAT!

Ya, 'if' someone has been to both states, they don't need to look that up. The desert has 'clear blue' skies on almost a daily basis. Florida's sun ducks in and out for the most part. Don't forget, during the summer down there, it'll rain for an hour or so every afternoon. You think it's rains without clouds?....

WHAT cloudy days in South Florida? That is the summer here. They call it "rainy season" and that is only downpours for a short time.

Winter here is sun, sun, and more sun. No rain, or clouds, for MONTHS.

When I was back in NYC in January, one day it was 9 degrees and NO CLOUD in the sky. It was SUNNY. When it warmed up into the 20s, it snowed. How it works. When it gets very, very cold, no clouds/no precipiation. When it warms up, it snows, or rains.

40 isn't really cold. Hell, it even gets into the 40s, at night, in South Florida. Watch out all you cold weather haters moving to Florida. You are actually going to have to put on HEAT in the winters in Florida.

There are alot of cumulus cloud formations in Florida's skies. And that includes the winter time. I'm not saying it's cloudy, but there are clouds in the sky. And Florida skies can't compare with the skies of the desert. The western US is MUCH sunnier than the eastern part. That even includes cities like Denver. Which recieves nearly 300 days a year of sunshine (a little fact most people who've never been there could imagine).

that actually Florida isn't the sunniest state in the country, as much as it likes to say that. I don't remember exactly where they said has more sunny days than Florida. Arizona?

That's no true Tan. A 'high' pressure system is what gives you the "clear blue skies". NYC gets ALOT of 'high' pressure systems that push all the cloud cover away and gives you the appearence of desert skies. NYC is one of the most sunniest places I ever lived. That includes comparing it to Florida where I once lived.
