This year it's my husband, me and our two young adult kids. I'm not planning anything special for Christmas Eve as I'm not sure if the kids will be home for dinner (work/friends).

Christmas dinner:

Prime rib
Lobster tail
Mac & cheese
A potato dish of some kind - mashed or possibly buttered baby reds.
Asparagus
Green Beans
Spinach salad with dried cranberries, pecans and blue cheese crumbles.
Chocolate cream pie for dessert.

New Year's Eve:
Roasted Duck
Wild rice
Asparagus
Some kind of salad
Crescent rolls
