Lol--my mother started buying that back in the 60s! Even today I'll go by KFC just to buy the coleslaw. If I'm not making it myself (super easy btw), it's so much better than the prepared stuff in the grocery store/deli.

Yes, my Mother's is much better than anything bought.
I will agree though KFC coleslaw was very good when I used to eat KFC and Long John Silvers was good as well when I used to eat there. I haven't eaten fast food for more than 20 years though.

LJS is just classic Marzetti's cole slaw dressing with a tiny bit of onion grated in.

Yeah, but what about those establishments that are half KFC and half LJS? Do they serve two different coleslaws? I wish you could order a la cart at those places. I would combine LJS fish and KFC chicken and the best sides from both. Then, I would be over it for another 6 months until the next time the craving hit me.

I love KFC coleslaw. Unfortunately ... or maybe fortunately for my health ... the KFC in my town sucks when it comes to service. If there's one car ahead of you in the drive thru, expect it to take 20 minutes to get your stuff and leave, so I don't patronize KFC often.

Do any of them anywhere have good service? I have yet to find one.

Never had the Cole slaw at KFC, then again haven't had KFC since 2006. I like the one my local diner makes and it's slightly sweet.
