Not a fan of cole slaw but for some reason their "tartness" is delicious.

I like it. I prefer creamy coleslaw to the vinegar and celery seed coleslaw (in fact I do not like vinegar coleslaw), and KFC makes good creamy coleslaw.

Not sure if Northerns can fry chicken. I live in Georgia now and our chicken is your wieners or subs.

Anyway, that KFC opened in Indiana Pa. Awful. Happened to see the fresh chicken being delivered. Old egg layers. Yellow fat and all. God! I can still taste it.

I grew up in KY so there's a KFC every 50 feet or so. Love love love the coleslaw, it's my favorite. Boy, and that fried chicken! Oh food of my childhood. I just moved to CA a few weeks ago and actually saw a KFC while out doing errands the other day. Very exciting!

I like it because it tastes like candy. (I can handle a small portion, but it is really sweet to me.)

I like it. I buy it there sometimes instead of making it myself.

My favorite by far!

Here's the recipe I use (forgot from where) - tastes exactly the same - and for those that don't like the sweetness, just leave some of the sugar out:

KFC coleslaw clone

Ingredients:
8 cups finely diced cabbage (about 1 head)
1/4 cup diced carrot
2 tablespoons minced onions
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
Serves 10

Directions:
1 - Cabbage and carrots must be finely diced.
2 - Pour cabbage and carrot mixture into large bowl and stir in minced onions.
3 - Using regular blade on food processor, process remaining ingredients until smooth. (Fyi, I don't bother w/a food processor, I just mix it up thoroughly)
4 - Pour over vegetable mixture and mix thoroughly.
5 - Cover bowl & refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving.
.

I usually hate fast food, but I can handle KFC every now and then. The cole slaw is one of my favorite things on the Menu.
My favorite cole slaw was the Cajun Cole slaw that they serve at Bojangles....but that burnt down years ago in this city, so KFC is next best thing.

Default My latest food addiction-KFC coleslaw

I have just really been in the mood for it lately..its so good. And whats better, there is a KFC on my way home from work! So I stopped there 2 times this last week and got a large side of coleslaw..nothing else. Is there any coleslaw better?
